Is the NRA Home Firearm Safety Course the correct course to take in order to receive my certificate and be able to apply for my gun permit?

Yes, this course is approved by the Massachusetts State Police to apply for your LTC.

What should I bring to the class?

For the Home Firearm Safety Course we recommend a pad of paper and a pen for taking notes.  Every class will require a valid form of identification.  All Tactical Training classes will provide specific information about training equipment to be used.

Does Greater Boston Gun Safety School guarantee that I will get my gun license?

Yes, there is a money back guarantee.  If you are 21 years old and apply for your license within one year of receiving your MA LTC Certificate from our school and you also have good references and a clean criminal record, then we guarantee you will get your gun license.  

Will I be shooting a gun during this class?

There is no shooting component for the Home Firearm Safety Course and no experience is necessary. This course follows the LTC-007 (NRA Home Safety Course) curriculum and upon completion you will receive your certificate to apply for your LTC.  Certain towns such as Quincy and Lowell require live fire training.  Please check with your local requirements.  We offer off-site live fire classes and prep classes to assist you with these requirements.  Some of our Tactical Training classes will involve shooting airsoft CO2 pistols and rifles at our dynamic indoor training facility.

Will I handle real guns in the NRA Home Firearm Safety Course?

Yes, the instructors will teach you how to load and unload a gun, as well as show you all of the gun's operational parts.

Will I receive my certificate at the end of the Home Firearm Safety Course?

Yes, upon completion of the class you will receive the Massachusetts State Police certificate that is a requirement to apply for your LTC.

Is there free parking on-site?

Yes, there is plenty of free parking.

Is the school in walking distance from the Redline?

Yes, the school is located just a few blocks from Andrew Station.

Is there a fee to get a copy of my gun safety certificate?

Yes, there is a $20 fee to get a copy printed and emailed to you.
